Welcome to the home of internationally acclaimed Aboriginal artist Lloyd Gawura Hornsby . Gawura Gallery is located on the New England Highway Glen Innes and sits in the beautiful New England Highlands in northern New South Wales, covering an area of 5,487 sq. Km with a population of approximately 10,000 people.
Gawura gallery offers contemporary artworks from local, interstate and international artists. Our modern gallery exhibits a range works from established and emerging Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists including Fine Arts.
Exhibitions change every 6 weeks with new and exciting works on display.
For the past 15 years working with Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists has been a constant theme of Lloyd Hornsby Gawura, and it is this philosophy that underpins the gallery’s exhibition theme.
