This image is of the Olgas and Uluru and going into Cooper Pedy and Lake Ayer. The artist was given permission to paint this image by the Central Desert Land Council. This is a very significant site relating to a male initiation site at the Olgas, women’s business at Uluru, and mining in Cooper Pedy. It rained while the artist was here and he watched the filling of Lake Ayr.
